Great overall. We came to this restaurant shortly after they opened. We really hope they can keep up the freshness in their ingredients! It's surprising that many seafood ingredients are available for lunch! Several different types of tofu ingredients are available .My friends who have experienced the hotpot in the big city & Korea, even said this is the bomb! Personally I love the pork belly meat, but you have many selections including lamb meat. Just be aware, the spicy pot is pretty spicy! Dim sum appetizers were ok. We do prefer dim sum in a different restaurant, but as appetizers here, are good, smaller sizes to eat.

This restaurant is clean and the service is fast and friendly. We had the miso and the coconut chicken broth - both were excellent. The takoyaki appetizer was so hot and delicious that we ordered it multiple times. There is plenty of variety and you should come with an open mind towards trying different foods to really get the most from your experience. We saw a robot/drone server a dish to one table!

This is the best hot pot restaurant in Omaha. The menu offers unlimited appetizers, including fried calamari, egg rolls, and crab rangoons, among others. The selection of meats is impressive—I ordered the beef, pork belly, and lamb, all of which were of excellent quality. The vegetables and noodles are offered buffet-style, a feature I appreciated as it allowed for better portion control. While the meat portions were slightly smaller than expected, this worked to my advantage, as I could enjoy a variety of dishes without worrying about overordering. I chose the spicy broth, which, as someone who enjoys extremely spicy food, I found to be mild. However, it would likely provide a satisfying level of heat for most diners. The staff demonstrated exceptional customer service, accommodating a food allergy my significant other has with care and attention. They were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the experience. Additionally, the restaurant features a robotic server though it was rarely used. Service was prompt, and the restaurant was clean and modern, with well-maintained facilities, including the bathrooms. One potential drawback is the limited parking, as the lot is relatively small. Overall, I had an excellent experience and highly recommend this for anyone seeking quality hot pot dining in Omaha.

We enjoyed our meals here. Good appetizer assortment and the meat was good. I like that everyone has their own broth instead of one big hot pot. The side bar has really any accoutrements you could ask for. Good kimchi and the quail eggs were bonus. Prices were reasonable, we’d definitely come again!

This is my new favorite place to take big groups. There were 8 of us and we had a 5-star experience. It's hard to find a place that accommodates various dietary restrictions and taste buds. Hot Pot 88 had everything you could want. I had been to other hot pot locations and didn't really care for the broth or everyone eating out of the same pot (gross). Here, everyone gets their own pot. They have several choices of broth. Appetizers are included in the price. You can add whatever you want and you get to control when the pot is on or off. I liked being in control - this is the way hot pot should work. The broth was delicious (I had the mushroom one). They also have a spot where you can add spice or craft your own special blend of seasonings. The rest of my table did this but in my opinion, I chose the best pot so why mess with perfection. Ryan, explained the process in detail for those of us new to this experience. He made sure we had everything we needed from the time we sat down, until we left. The service was impeccable and I don't say that about many restaurants. The staff there was so personable and accommodating. If you're looking for a space to have a group, they have a back room that seats like 12. This is a great place to come where everyone can find something they like. I will definitely be back with a group or by myself. This is one of the few places you can get a hot pot for one. If you're looking for people that will take care of you like family, this is your new spot. Our crew gave it 5 stars.

Came here for Valentine’s Day and was super impressed. It was decorated to cute and the servers handed the ladies a free rose. As a foodie with a critical judgmental tastebuds. This place is bomb! The broth by itself is just okay but if you hit that seasoning bar and whip up your own concoction to add to the broth, tastebuds will be in heaven. The all you can eat option is the best way to go. The meat, seafood and veggies options are spectacular.

I had a great experience dining at Hot Pot 88! The food was incredibly fresh, and the variety of options was impressive. I opted for the Sichuan medium broth, and it was bursting with authentic flavor and the perfect amount of spice. Having lived in China for several years, I can confidently say that the flavors were spot on and truly reminiscent of my time there. I can’t wait to go back!
